Quincy, IL – State Representative Randy Frese (R-Paloma) was assigned to the following committees today:

  1. Veterans Affairs
  2. Consumer Protection
  3. Agriculture & Conservation
  4. Appropriations – Human Services
  5. Special Committee on Business Growth & Incentives
  6. Small Business Empowerment & Workforce Development
“I am excited that I was assigned to Agriculture & Conservation. I was raised on a farm, and agriculture is a huge part of who I am,” said Rep. Randy Frese. Representative Frese is hopeful that being assigned to the Veterans Affairs committee will provide many opportunities for our local veterans – especially with a Veterans Home being located in the 94th District in Quincy.

Rep. Frese understands that business growth is the way to get the economy turned around. “I am especially grateful that Republican Leader Jim Durkin understands that my many years as a small business owner have given me a unique understanding of ways we can streamline the process to create, maintain and grow business here in Illinois,” said Rep Frese. “And I am really looking forward to getting to work on all of these vital issues.”
